Set of 16 titanium retainers to replace original steel retainers on the following models:
VFR 750F - after 1990
VFR 750R RC30 -all years
VFR 800 - all years

Made of Grade 5 titanium and finished with durable black nitride to avoid valve spring wear and increase durability.

The original retainers weight 7,5g and the titanium retainers weight 4,2g, 45% lighter.

These retainers have a smaller profile/height to allow for more valve lift without contact with oil seal and without requiring valve guide modifications.

Using lightweight titanium retainers allows for more aggressive camshaft profiles (lift and duration) without losing control of the valve and increased rpm limits - a must for any performance / race engine
