16 Oversized Valves + 16 Titanium Retainers
 
Set of 16 high performance valves and retainers for the Yamaha FJ1100, FJ1200 and XJR 1200/1300 air cooled engines.
 
Valves made of the best grade stainless steel (EV8 / 21-4N) commonly used in all high performance valves used for racing or high strung engines (N/A, turbo or nitrous), these are a great improvement over the standard valves not only in flow but also in strenght and heat resistance.
 
Valves are finished with durable black nitride coating to avoid stem wear and increase durability. These valves have hardened valve tips.
 
These valves are 30,5mm (1,5 mm oversize) and 26mm (1,0 mm oversize).

16 Retainers made of best grade titanium (Grade 5) that are much lighter than stock and allow for higher redline and more agressive camshafts.

The original retainers weight 8,6g and the titanium retainers weight 4,9g, 45% lighter.
These retainers have a smaller profile/height (0,5mm shorter) to allow for more valve lift without contact with oil seal and without requiring valve guide modifications.
