These are a direct replacement for the original retainers on the:
Suzuki GSXR 1000 (2009-2016)
 
The original aluminium retainers weight 5.6g and the ABUSO titanium retainers weight XXg.
The original aluminium retainers may become too weak for the stronger valve springs that are often installed in modified engines. ABUSO Titanium Retainers fix these issues.
 
These retainers have a smaller profile/height (1,3mm shorter) to allow for more valve lift without contact with the oil seal and without requiring valve guide modifications.
 
Using lightweight titanium retainers allows for more aggressive camshaft profiles (lift and duration) without losing control of the valve and increased rpm limits - a must for any performance / race engine.
